What We Have Been Up To

Hare Wynn Participates in Trick-or-Treat Parade at Children’s of Alabama

The Hare Wynn Honey Bees had a great time at the Children’s Hospital Trick-or-Treat Parade. Each year, Children’s Child Life Department hosts a Halloween parade for hospitalized children and their families. This candy-free event allows the hospitalized children and their families to dress up and go around to different tables picking up stickers, puzzles, stuffed animals and many other goodies to enjoy. We love to be a part of such an uplifting event each year!
Hare Wynn Gives Back to the Community

Hare Wynn attorneys and staff partnered with Birmingham-based Metro Changers to provide safe housing for a family displaced by roof damage. Metro Changers improves the housing conditions for those in the Birmingham community who are most in need: low-income, the elderly, those with disabilities, people with health problems, and veterans or spouses of veterans. Hare Wynn lawyers and staff volunteered their time throughout the last week of October to complete an exterior paint job for George and Shelia Parks of Ensley, who were overjoyed to return to the home that has been in their family since 1962.
Hare Wynn Supports the Birmingham Bar Association at Brews & Bar-B-Q Event

We were honored to join the Bankruptcy & Commercial Law and Business Law sections of the Birmingham Bar Association in sponsorship for the 4th Annual Barristers, Brews & Bar-B-Q at Cahaba Brewing Company. All proceeds from the event benefited Brother Bryan Mission and Prescott House.
Hare Wynn Attorneys Read to Avondale Elementary School Students

Hare Wynn partnered with the Alabama Head Injury Foundation and visited the second-graders at Avondale Elementary to teach them about the dangers of head trauma. Our attorneys visited the classrooms and read “Elvin: The Elephant Who Forgets,” by Heather Snyder. It’s a story about a young elephant who sustains a brain injury when a fig tree branch falls on his head. The story gave our attorneys and teachers the opportunity to educate the students on the importance of avoiding head trauma by wearing seat belts and bicycle helmets. The day concluded with a coloring activity and a frozen treat.
