What We Have Been Up To

First Light Shelter Gala

Hare Wynn was a proud sponsor of the 2018 First Light Gala. This year’s theme was “Let It Shine”, celebrating First Light’s mission of  brightening the lives of the homeless women and children the shelter serves. We consider it a privilege to partner with organizations that improve the communities in which we live and work, and were honored to participate in this year’s Gala!

Young Lawyers Section Annual Orange Beach CLE

Hare Wynn was pleased to support the Alabama State Bar Young Lawyers Section Annual CLE program, which included an exciting lineup of speakers and social events. This YLS CLE was held in Orange Beach and was the largest gathering of lawyers 40 years of age and younger in the state.

Avondale Elementary Bike Rodeo

On May 10, staff and attorneys from Hare Wynn distributed bike helmets to the fourth graders at Avondale Elementary School. Each fourth grade student was fitted for a bike helmet that he/she was able to keep. After receiving their helmets, the students participated in a unique bicycle rodeo where they rode through a specially-designed course to teach key safety principles like correctly identifying and obeying street signage and choosing safe routes. We were honored to partner with Children’s of Alabama, the Injury Free Coalition for Kids and United Way of Central Alabama on this project!
