Etudes: Drawing & Music

An Exhibition celebrating the 60th Anniversary season of The Rehearsal Orchestra

As part of the 60th Anniversary year of the Rehearsal Orchestra I will be showing a number of drawings and paintings made from musicians in rehearsal. The exhibition will include many pieces made during my time with the orchestra on courses in both London and Edinburgh (when I haven't been playing)!

Portraits of playing friends will also be included alongside studies made from small chamber ensembles including the Archos and Chilingirian Quartets painted during residencies at West Dean College.

The exhibition opens on Tuesday 9th May at Putney School of Art and Design, Oxford Rd, Putney, London SW15 2LQ and will continue until Wednesday 24th May. The school opening hours are Monday - Thursday 10am - 8.30pm; Friday 10am - 5pm and Saturday 10am - 4pm.

The art school is a short walk from Putney station which is on the direct line from Waterloo and Clapham Junction, or from East Putney Underground which is on the District line (Wimbledon branch).

We will be having a private view on the evening of Friday 12th May 6-8pm and it would be lovely if you could join us.
