I'm Back!
I hope you are having a magnificent summer! I can't wait to see you back in class starting 6/26. 








DID YOU KNOW?
The largest muscle in your body is the gluteus maximus (your backside). Let's give it some extra love this week in class...it's vital to your posture!

Mondays at The Yoga Room, Astoria:

6pm-Advanced Mat 
710pm-TYR Barre Fit (advance registration recommended)
815p-Pilates Foundations (great for beginners!)

Tuesdays at The Yoga Room, Astoria:
615p-Pilates Foundations (great for beginners!)

Sundays at The Yoga Room, Astoria:
3pm-Hot Bodies, Hot Pilates

MINDFUL MODIFICATIONS:

For supine (on-your-back) exercises, it is often okay to add a block or pillow under your head if your neck is tight. It could add support to a forward ab curl if your neck doing all of the work, or it could help you while stretching the legs in a figure-four stretch when the chin wants to lift. DO NOT support the head when doing inversions (roll-over, bridge) to protect your neck.
