Sue Wolf, Abbey Rose Floral Artistry >> Existing Member
Arguably, Sue Wolf of Abbey Rose Floral Artistry is the longest standing member of our Charlotte-based community of barter members (possibly even “before current owner Sindo Mayor," she quipped). She joined in 2003 after creating her home-based “Zen” florist studio in Mint Hill.
Sue’s interest in flowers was sparked while supporting her husband’s college education in the field of ornamental
horticulture. Six months after getting her own education, she opened a flower shop.Business has steadily built up, relying on word-of-mouth, social media advertising, and Premier Barter.
She joined the Exchange (back when it was called Trade Bank) immediately after receiving a sales call. Sue was sold from the get-go. Now, “When I need something, I think of Barter first,” Sue shared.
She and her business partner – daughter Libby – use barter dollars on vacations, special dinners, and business services like social media and advertising.
Sue said “Barter elevates my lifestyle more so than if I was operating on cash only.”
Our "Broker Managed" accounts are defined as a business owner that requires ALL requests for Barter come through our Brokers.
The reasons we have Broker Managed accounts include – Retail businesses that want to limit phone calls or visits to their store for multiple reasons including the fact their employees are not familiar with Premier Barter.
We have more than 600 businesses in our exchange and less than 10% are “Broker Managed”.
We request that all our members call our brokers whenever they need vacations, furniture or hard-to-find products and services. But especially for “Broker Managed” accounts.
