What's on Across our Parishes

  • SHWP Men's Breakfast Group - meets for fellowship this Saturday at 9.00 am at a local café.  Contact Denis Billings for further details.

  • Children's Liturgy - will be held this Sunday during the 9.00 am Mass at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church and during the 10.30 am Mass at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church.  Reflections and activities are based on the Gospel of the day for school aged children.  All welcome.

  • Brigidine Asylum Seekers Project (BASP) baskets - will be available in the churches at Camberwell, Balwyn and Deepdene this weekend.  Non-perishable foods, cleaning products, washing powder, toiletries and other necessities can be placed in the baskets provided.

  • Faith and Life Questions Group - will hold their first meeting at 4.00 pm on Monday, 6 December in the Our Holy Redeemer Church Meeting Room to consider childhood beliefs and how they may need to be re-articulated as we move through our life journey. For reading material or further information, contact Rose Marie Prosser.

  • Advent Penitential Service - will be held at 7.00 pm on Tuesday, 21 December at Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church. 

  • Christmas Eve Family Masses - Families are invited to be involved in proclaiming the Gospel during the 6.00 pm Christmas Eve Family Masses at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church and Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church. Please sign-up for Our Lady of Good Counsel Church or Our Lady of Perpetual Succour Church.

  • Choir Rehearsals - for this year’s Our Holy Redeemer Christmas Vigil will be held at 7.00 pm on Tuesday, 14 and 21 December at Our Holy Redeemer Church. Please contact James Squire if you would like to be part of the choir.

  • OLGC Primary School Family Carols Night - will be held from 5.00 pm on Thursday, 9 December.  Download flyer...

Recently Deceased and Anniversaries

Let us pray... that those who have died may sit in glory at the feet of Christ especially Pina Angelo, Herb (Herbert) Bennetto, Sr Elizabeth Costigan RSC, Sean Dillon and Greg Ferguson, and that those whose anniversaries occur at this time might continue to know God's love, particularly Alice Hickey, Tom Hickey, Nancy Roberts, Stanley Roberts, Elizabeth Thornton-Smith, Nellie Lim Kim Suan and Edmund Walsh.
