Scenic View Alpacas

Lonnie and Joyce Keene began the adventure with alpacas in 2011 when Keene and Queen Alpacas of Cedar Bluff Virginia gave Joyce two little males which she quickly fell in love with. They then decided to purchase some bred females and start their own herd. When the new Crias began arriving, they discovered just how rewarding raising Alpacas could be.  Their first Cria born was a little tuxedo rose grey male (Stormy's Whirlwind). That is when they decided to start a breeding program for greys and they haven't been disappointed. They purchased  grey and dark colored females and a  grey male. It didn't take long to figure out that breeding their dark brown females to a grey male gave them the best chance to get a rose grey Cria. In just four short years they have been rewarded with some of the nicest rose grey crias you will find anywhere.
In June of 2016 the Keene’s sold their farm in Virginia and purchased a smaller farm in Oxford.
