Meet our featured heroes!

The Unite for the Fight committee was founded in February of 2008. Their mission is to raise funds and awareness for childhood cancer research in memory of Cailin Gallagher, who at the age of 15 months was diagnosed with Wilm’s Tumour, a rare form of kidney cancer.

Cailin was successfully treated and achieved a complete remission and was cancer free for 13 years. Unfortunately Cailin relapsed in 2002 at 15 years of age. She died on January 1st 2008 surrounded by her loving family.

“To honour Cailin’s compassion and spirit of giving the Annual Unite for the Fight campaign seeks to raise funds towards research in an effort to cure every child of cancer”. All money raised goes toward childhood cancer research.
