Great news! As you may have seen in our recent newsletters or on Facebook, Cavs is back fencing again. And you're invited!

As promised when we had to shut down the club sessions before your beginners' course had completed, you can join our new beginners course at no extra cost. This is the full seven week's course, so you will get some extra weeks for free.

We do still need to get an idea of numbers so everyone gets the best experience possible. There has been interest from like-minded people who are also interested in learning fencing - just like you. We are sending you this notice first so you get first option, with the general notice to go out this weekend.

Please go to and when asked if you attended beginners course #1, select yes. This will waive the usual course fee. There may be a small admin fee from RegisterNow.

Let us know at if you have any questions or issues. I hope we see you back fencing again later this month!

Kind regards,
Elizabeth-Kate Gulland, Secretary
