Yo! How was your weekend? Did you do anything fun? Did you eat something delicious? Ready to start the week? Ok, let's start it with some links!

Morion Typeface

Morion is a beautiful classic transitional serif that you can use as a display or body type. It includes six weights with matching italics. The text is super bright and sharp, even at small sizes.

AI Image Enlarger

This app enlarges low-resolution images using AI and machine learning without all the fuzzy pixels. Perfect for turning your lo-fi memes into top-notch quality. 👌🏽

Vangogh Color Palette

Another AI-powered tool! With this color generator, you can find palettes by searching for keywords. The app uses machine learning to generate color palettes based on millions of images from across the web. If you're interested in that nerdy stuff, check out how they do it in their about page—pretty smart!

Flawless App Joins Abstract

Flawless is joining Abstract on their mission to bring design and development closer together! They'll focus on building out the Abstract SDK and the developers’ experience. I couldn't be happier for them. They have been working hard, sharing an open-source collection of tools, plugins, and UI kits. Can't wait to see what they create together! 💪🏽

Logo Maker by Fiverr

Fiverr launched a Logo Maker. It works by setting parameters on the brand's personality, and then it outputs some templates for people to choose. I tried it and, well, I was somewhat surprised at first. The icons and typography were generic but kinda passable. Then I tried different parameters and, well, it just gave me the same stuff—some random type, with random stock art.

The results lack any brand value or meaning. And I don't know how you would trademark this, since I'm sure everyone is getting the same stuff, lol.

But, perhaps these tools can be used to filter out the clients that we might not want to have anyway. Having someone not wanting to pay for your work? Just send them to this app and avoid further stress for both of you. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Sears Got a New Logo

Seariously? Perhaps they changed it because their previous icon resembled Airbnb's? Maybe it was designed with Fiverr's Logo Maker?
