There's no business like design business.

The Last Question.

One of my favorite sci-fi short stories by Isaac Asimov. In six scenes, it reveals the evolution of humankind and our journey to answering one question; how can we avert the threat to our existence by the death of energy.

Once Appon a Time.

A series of posters for different tech companies imagined as their older analog counterparts by Luli Kibudi.

Townscaper is a beautiful building game inspired by the design of Scandinavian cities and children's books. You'll love the calm ambiance, with no background music, and the simple mechanics of the game. It's seriously simple; left-click: you build, right-click: you destroy it.

Readability Guidelines.

This site is a content style guide goldmine. These guidelines will help you when making decisions on writing your UX copy. It goes about how to use clear language, how to use images, write for different devices, and just general content design. The only downside is that you have to do a lot of clicks to get to the meaty parts, but here's a taste in the section on why we should use plain English.

Storybook Controls.

If you have ever worked on building UI components, you know that the translation from design to implementation, documentation, and testing can get messy. Well, Storybook has been a great tool to solve for that. And now, it has made it easier with Controls, an addon that allows you to dynamically edit a component's inputs without touching code for rapid experimentation.

Design System Checklist.

If you're like me, sometimes you don't know where to start when you're about to create a design system—even when you've done it hundreds of times. This checklist guides you through all the things you would need, from the core principles to the UI components, and the best practices to follow. Pretty neat tool.

Stuck at Home Comic Series

I started writing a new comic series that follows the lives of Manuela and Robyn during the lockdown. Yesterday I shared the third slice-of-life comic on Instagram, and well, maybe you'll like it :) Oh, yeah, and sometimes I also record livestreams while I draw them.

If your heart is broken, make art with the pieces.”
