July 2019 Newsletter

The ladies started out the month attending the spectacular fireworks display in Hudson Oaks!
Sparks are flying around our home!  One “firecracker”, Kasey, received a promotion at her job and Employee of the Month!  Kasey has been here since December.  She is a mother of two adorable little girls.  Kasey will be attending Weatherford College in the Fall, with a goal of receiving her Associates Degree in Accounting.  Click to learn more about Kasey.

The ladies have been helping with getting the fashion show décor done!  If you haven’t bought your tickets yet, don’t wait any longer!  What a great time for a mother/daughter date, or a morning with your girlfriends.  Our ladies will be modeling the outfits, there will be vendors for shopping and a wonderful brunch! There will be great raffle prizes as well! See you there!

Cori was baptized this month! Cori came to Sanctified Hope as a "baby Christian." She is so hungry for the Lord!
Our volunteer of the month is Jan Williams.  Jan has been mentoring since we first opened our doors at Sanctified Hope.  She is a wonderful woman of God and really loves the ladies.  She really magnifies what discipleship is!  Thank you Jan for all that you do!
Our church of the month was Centerpoint Baptist.  Centerpoint has been sponsoring women going through our program since October 2017. Our ladies went and had the privilege to give their testimonies during the service.  Thank you, Centerpoint for your support of Sanctified Hope!
Dr Rebecca Robb is our Donor of the Month.  She is a psychologist in Portland Oregon.  She came and gave a presentation last year to our ladies at Sanctified Hope on healthy eating and “gut health”.  Sanctified Hope aims to treat the whole woman, so physical health is an important factor in that treatment.  Rebecca works with a holistic doctor in Portland who likes to treat with a natural approach.  She is married and has one grown daughter.  She donates each month so that Sanctified Hope can purchase vitamins and natural supplements that will benefit the ladies.  Thank you Dr. Robb for what you do for us and so many others!

The Lord is doing so many wonderful things at Sanctified Hope.  He is bringing scholarships to women who would never have had a chance to go to school and further their education.  He is bringing just the perfect women to participate in our program…women who truly want to follow the Lord and make a difference in their and their family’s lives.  He is restoring families!  I am so grateful for Sanctified Hope and what it is purposed for.
I, unfortunately, have not been able to be in the office very much over the last four weeks.  My husband, Tracy, was put on hospice home care on June 28.  On July 21 he was admitted to the hospice in-patient unit at Baylor.  As I sit here and write this newsletter, keeping vigil over him, I am praising God for the Victory that He promises us when we complete this short journey called “life”.    Tracy will soon be victorious!  His time is drawing near.  It has been an extremely difficult time but I have felt your prayers.  Thank you to so many of you who have prayed.  Please continue to pray for myself and my family as we walk through the next leg of this journey.
God Bless You!
