November 2019 Newsletter

We often hear about November being the “month of gratitude”, but why shouldn’t every month, every day, every minute, be a time of gratitude?  I am challenging our ladies here at Sanctified Hope to be grateful all of the time for everything…the blessings and the hardships…the victories and the challenges.  God’s word tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Gary Smalley said, “there is a pearl in every pile”.  Sanctified Hope desires and encourages our ladies to find the “pearl” and to be grateful for the “piles”.  I pray that in this season of gratitude and giving, that you will be able to find the pearls in your piles.

Please continue to pray for Sanctified Hope and the women.  If you would like to help out, our biggest need this month is Bleach, Laundry Soap, Dishwasher detergent, Paper Towels, deodorant, hairspray and Toilet Paper.

God Bless!

Sanctified Hope welcomed a new woman to our program this month.  Jenna is extremely creative and talented.  She is an artist, loves nature and strives to eat healthy.
Our Donor of the Month is New Life Church in Weatherford, TX.  Our Volunteer of the month is the Pastor of New Life, Dean Sudemeyer.  When asked “Why does New Life feel led to invest in Sanctified Hope?”  Pastor Sudemeyer answered that He and the congregation recognized that “God is totally in the program and that Sanctified Hope goes above and beyond of what most “half-way” houses do.  Sanctified Hope prepares the women spiritually, physically and emotionally to go out into the world and become successful members of society.  Pastor Sudemeyer also stated that a lot of their members have been where Sanctified Hope participants have been.  They understand the struggles that these ladies have.  Pastor Sudemeyer has been a pastor for 8 years total with the last 4 years at New Life Church.  He is married to his bride for 16 years and they have 4 kids, 14 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.  Dean is our newest Executive Board Member.  Our board members are all active in the community and volunteer their time, gifts and talents to Sanctified Hope.  Pastor Sudemeyer enjoys teaching the Bible verse by verse and in his free time he participates in Bass Fishing Tournaments.  Thank you New Life for pouring into our women and thank you Pastor Sudemeyer for your service to Sanctified Hope!
Our church of the month was New Hope Baptist Church.  Everyone there received our ladies with love and kindness.  The ladies loved the service and hope to go back soon.  Thank you New Hope Baptist!
As with every month, November was very busy.  The first weekend of the month was the TCA craft fair.  Sanctified Hope sold out of all of our Christmas Welcome Signs.  If you would like to order one, please email us at and we would be happy to make one for you.
Trinity Bible Church hosted a ladies retreat at Possum Kingdom Lake.  It was over 2 Kings 3:17 ~ God’s Simple plans for us.  Thank you Trinity Bible Church!  Our ladies LOVED it!
Thank you for your support of our program.  God is changing lives here.  Please come to celebrate two of our ladies that are graduating the program this Sunday!
