October 2019 Newsletter

Craft season is in full force right now!  Our ladies displayed and sold our crafts at the North Side Craft Fair and First United Methodist Church Fall Festival.  Go to our website to check out our crafts.
Our church of the month was Lakeshore Baptist Church.  They had a ministry fair where local ministries displayed and told about their mission.  Thank you Lakeshore for having us!
Our participant Nene had her birthday celebration!  When Sanctified Hope celebrates on of our family member’s birthday, we always gift that person with “the gifts I see in you”.   Nene was super blessed for her birthday.  Nakona Robles always makes a wonderful cake for the lady’s birthday.  Thank you Nakona!
Every year, First Financial sends their staff out to serve us on Columbus Day.  A group of men and women came and did yard work, washed windows and changed out batteries for our smoke detectors.  Thank you First Financial
Our volunteer of the month is Martha Davis.  She has served as a mentor for a couple different ladies.  Martha lives on a farm in Lipan.  She enjoys gardening, canning and raising calves.  She also volunteers at Center of Hope as a tutor.  Thank you for everything you do Martha!
Our ladies were blessed with tickets to Capernaum and were able to partake in the Apocalypse Experience.  It was a wonderful experience!
Raecheall graduated from Jobs for Life at Center of Hope.  Everyone of our women that go through that class love it!  Not only does it teach job skills it teaches life skills.  Thank you Center of Hope!
Sharon and Kim made a trip down to Gatesville, Burnett and Lockhart to visit women that have been accepted to our program, those interested in Sanctified Hope and new Re-entry personnel.  It was a wonderful and productive trip and once again made us aware of why we are doing what we are doing.
Trinity Bible Church offered an alternative to trick or treat which was also an outreach to our community…Light up the Night!  The ladies were able to serve our neighborhood community around Sanctified Hope and had a wonderful time of fellowship.

I waited to send out this newsletter so that I could share the excitement of what is happening at Sanctified Hope!  I know it is November 5, however, it is so exciting!!!  By the time you receive this newsletter, we will have had our groundbreaking for our new Educational building!  This was a vision that the Lord had given us a while ago and it so awesome to see it come to fruition.

God is so good.  He provides just what we need at just the right time we need it. If you would like to support this endeavor there are several ways that you can help.  Pray for good weather for our builder. Buy a brick or a plaque.  All of that information is on our website. Thank you for your continued prayers and I pray that you have a blessed Thanksgiving!
