November is always known as the month that we give thanks. God’s word doesn’t’ say to give thanks for all things, but to give thanks IN all things. If you have been reading our newsletters, you know that my husband Tracy has cancer. It has been quite a journey for the last several months. He has had 2 major surgeries where they have had to remove half of his tongue and his jawbone, replace it with grafts from different places in his body and reconstruct. We got the report that the dr got all clear margins, but then two weeks after his surgery, at a checkup, another spot was found. It is cancer. It will continue to pop up. This spot needs to be treated in a quick fashion. A lot has come up since then…infection, things not healing, etc. Do I thank God for all of this? Absolutely not! Do I thank Him through this? YES! He is our strength and our shield. So many wonderful things have happened through all of this. The ladies here at Sanctified Hope are getting to witness God at work first hand in numerous ways. Tracy is growing in his faith and I am in awe of the strength the Lord continues to give me. We are very thankful for our Sanctified Hope family. The prayers and love have been overwhelmingly beautiful. Please continue to pray for Sanctified Hope and for my family.
Please don’t forget Sanctified Hope in your end of the year giving. We are trying to raise a matching $10,000 for our new Educational Building before breaking ground. We also have everyday financial needs as well. If the Lord lays it on your heart to give, contact us or look for it on our web site under support. Click the donate button. God Bless you during the holiday season!
