Tearing Down the Walls!

Whew!  Things are heating up at Sanctified Hope ~ In a good way!!!!  Our month started out with baptisms of three of our women.  What a blessing!!  It was at Splash Kingdom Waterpark. Afterwards, the ladies were able to have fun in the water, which was most welcomed with the way the heat has been this month.
We opened up the wall between our duplexes.  Thank you to Mike Conner and Cody Draper for opening up our duplex and tearing down the walls!!!
Please don’t forget North Texas Giving Day coming up on September 20th!  United Way partners are having an event at Heritage Park from 11-2pm that day.  Come on out and see what non-profits in your community are about and GIVE!
Sunday Funday was so fun!!  We celebrated Amanda and Elizabeth’s birthdays, had praise and worship led by Janet and Darcy came out to talk about nutrition.  Thank you so much Janet and Darcy!
We welcomed 2 new ladies in August!  Shasta came on August 8.  Her favorite colors are Rose Gold and Turquoise and she loves Chicken Fajitas and Skittles!  She is such a great cook too!
Krystal is our newest lady.  She came to Sanctified Hope on August 16.  She loves doing the lawn.  Her favorite colors are Turquoise and Lime Green and she really likes Chinese and Seafood.
Along with welcoming 2 new ladies, August was extremely busy with other happenings!  A dentist in Weatherford blessed Jennifer with his services and is in the process of giving her a brand new smile.  Thank you Dr Novak!!
Some wonderful folks from Christ Chapel West came out to furnish and decorate our final room.  It is absolutely beautiful!  Thank you so much Patty and friends!!!!
One of our Sanctified Hope traditions is hosting a Tea at Two for women in our community.  We had that this month.  Two women volunteer their time in serving us…Nancy and Cheryl are the angels that do that each time.  Thank you ladies!
The ladies have started a new class, Financial Peace.  Randi Daniel who is on our board teaches it every Friday evening.  Thank you so much Randi!  May God Bless your time.
Lots of fun has been going on with the ladies too.  Check out these pictures:

First, I would like to welcome my new Program Manager, Kim Brewer, to the Sanctified Hope Family!  Kim has jumped right in.  She is from the Parker County area and is totally invested in our community.  She is married with 3 children and has served in ministry for the past 15 years.  Thank the Lord for providing Kim!!!! This month has been jammed packed with so much activity!  The Lord has blessed us with so much!  Two of our board members are donating their time each week mowing the big field and then around the houses.  Thank you so much Jim and Frank!!

One of our board members, Linda Tidmore, and I had the opportunity to visit 4 different prisons last week.  I was able to meet with the women that we have accepted along with re-entry workers.  This visit was unprecedented.  Emily Eisenman, who is the head of Region VI is the woman who helped to put this altogether.  Thank you
Emily! And thank you Linda who took time out of her schedule to go with me. (What an adventure!)

I am in awe of what God had done and continues to do at Sanctified Hope.  There will always be Spiritual Warfare because Satan hates what is going on here.  Please partner in prayer with me against that warfare and that the women of Sanctified Hope will remain strong in the Lord.

with Love,

How can you be a blessing to Sanctified Hope this month?

Our need this month is scholarships for our women.  We have 21 women that have been accepted to Sanctified Hope and only 3 scholarships!  To help a woman in this Program, it costs $300 per month for 6 months.
