With the way the New Year started out, with the icy roads and cold temps it sure did warm up here at Sanctified Hope.  The holidays were over and all of the “regular” busi-ness began.

Two of our ladies have started in the Center of Hope’s Jobs For Life program.  One of our ladies is taking a computer class from the Center of Hope.  We currently have 6 women here and 3 are currently enrolled in Weatherford College!  Deana, who graduated Welding school was just offered a Welder’s Assistant job today!  God is so GOOD!  One of our ladies is working for a doctor while going to school for a medical field position.  One is a manager at a restaurant while getting her degree in business management and another is in Customer Service at a restaurant while getting her degree in Health and Human Services.  All of this is due to the favor that the Lord has found on Sanctified Hope!
Sweet Friends from the Glory Class at North Side Baptist Church and Friends of MLJS, Lisa Marie Graves collected and donated much needed items for the ladies.  Thank you so very much!
We have kicked off the start of our 3rd annual fundraiser.  It is going to be a little different this year.  It’s an Old West Roundup, with an authentic Chuck Wagon meal!  Make sure you reserve your spot quickly!  It’s sure to fill up soon.   It’s going to be a Great Time!
One of the most precious things to witness is a new believer’s baptism.  We were privileged to witness Elizabeth get baptized last Sunday!  What a testimony as to what God is doing in these lady’s lives.
We welcomed a new lady into our home…Rosie!  Rosie is full of joy and loves Jesus!  She loves to do arts and crafts, landscaping and cooking.
On Sunday Funday we had Andrea Waitley and friend, Terri, come and give their testimony.  Thank you ladies!  After that we celebrated Deana’s Birthday!  Happy Birthday Deana!

Looking back over the past month, it was a whirlwind.  We are always busy with our studies, activities, classes, chores and work, but if we don’t put Jesus first, and keep our eyes on Him, all of the busi-ness is for nothing.  Being obedient, searching for His Will for our lives and living as a light for Him is what we are trying to impress on these sweet women.  Everyone that comes here is always anxious to get a job or to go to school, which isn’t a bad thing, but what my goal is as the director of Sanctified Hope is to teach them to search for the Father with all of their heart, put Him first and be a light in the darkness.  Everything else will fall into place.

I hope that we can all remember to put aside the busi-ness for Him.  Fix our eyes on Him.  Remembering HE is the reason we even exist.  Charles Stanley says “Our intimacy with God determines the impact of our Life”.  We stand tallest when we are on our knees.  Listening to Him is essential and a job, school or anything else will all come if it’s His will and in His timing.
I pray that each of you will join us for our Old West Roundup.  It will be a wonderfully fun time and a chance for you to support our program.

God Bless You!
