Artisan Alley

Hello and welcome to the Artisan Alley Newsletter! Thank you for signing up to be on our mailing list. We send out a newsletter once every month, usually on the first. In this newsletter, we'll be discussing our locations, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and more!

Volunteer Opportunities
Artisan Alley is always looking for new volunteers to work at our two retail store locations, help set up and tear down for classes, and more fun tasks! Volunteering for an educational nonprofit not only helps us, but it looks great on resumes and applications! If you're interested in becoming a volunteer with Artisan Alley, please fill out our Volunteer Application Form.

Food & Art Fair
Artisan Alley is very proud to announce the merging of two of our favorite events! We will be hosting the Food and Art Fair every Sunday from 11am-4pm. There will be food trucks/carts, art vendors selling their products, music, lawn games, and so much more! Stop on in to support your favorite food and art vendors all in one spot. If you're interested in setting up a booth at the fair, please fill out this application.
Monthly Events
Extra! Extra! Dimensions Gallery is now part of the official Bloomington Gallery Walk!
This month, join us for a very special First Friday. Our exhibition is called Refuse to Sea: A Light Reactive World. Starting at 5pm, journey through a world of blacklight reactive art made mostly out of recycled materials. Refuse to Sea is an exhibition designed to open your eyes to the pollution and waste flooding the world's oceans and marine life. Body paintings, blown glass, fabric, and more make up this spectacularly beautiful show. Additionally, join us at the same time for our Silent Auction held just outside the gallery.

The event begins at 9 pm and ends whenever! Come by 222 W 2nd St. and visit Dimensions Gallery before you hit the bars, on your way home from the bars, or any time in between!

SOCIAL NIGHT: Floral Crown Workshop

This rotating social event is inspired by our booth at Pride! We will be doing a Flower Crown Workshop on September 20, 2018. IU Involvement Fair, Makevention, and Pridefest, Oh My!
Artisan Alley recently had so many amazing opportunities to reach out to the public and meet a lot of people, and you're probably one of them! We want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who signed up for this mailing list. We hope you get more involved! Whether it's by attending events, becoming a volunteer, or just spreading the word, anything helps! To learn more about Artisan Alley, please visit our website, or stop by one of our three locations!
New Partnerships!
Artisan Alley wants to focus this year on reaching out in our beautiful community of Bloomington. We want to grow relationships with local businesses and crafters, and we can't wait to tell you about a few of those budding relationships!
Baked! of Bloomington: Artisan Alley and Baked!, the beloved and wickedly cool cookie shop, have teamed up to bring you Cookies and Canvas! Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, kids and adults are welcome to come to Artisan Alley, paint a beautiful picture, and munch on delicious cookies provided by Baked! We are so thankful to Baked for helping us get this class started.

Crumble Coffee: Artisan Alley and Crumble are joining together to create a "Coffee and Craft" class! This class will be coming up in October at the Crumble location on N College Ave. We're excited to fuse the amazing environment (and amazing coffee) of Crumble with our instructors and craft classes!
