ARTISAN ALLEY NEWSLETTER:

DECEMBER

We've got a brand new look for this month's newsletter! This issue discusses murals, upcoming changes with our organization, and fun Holiday activities.
501(C)3 Changes:
Artisan Alley is going to be receiving our 501(C)3 tax status. We have been trying to receive our 501(C)3 status for over a year now, and we are very excited for the doors that this change opens up! With this change, we are actively looking for people to help with grant writing and finding fundraising opportunities. If you think you can help us with either of those things, please email info@artisanalley.com
With this tax status change also comes a change with our retail store locations. The board is currently deciding what will happen with our retail locations.  We are taking suggestions and ideas from all of our members and people in the community! Artisan Alley is excited for all of these wonderful changes and we can not thank our members enough for the opportunities they have provided us with.
'Tis the season for spending time with loved ones and creating something special!
December Events:

Are you interested in teaching a class with Artisan Alley? We are now taking instructors for 2019 to teach Artisan Alley classes either in the community or in one of our locations. If you're interested in becoming an instructor, please fill out this application or email classes@artisanalley.com if you have any questions.
Artist Spotlight
This month's Artist Spotlight is showcasing the painter of our 804 W Kirkwood Ave. mural, as pictured above. Mark Kunoff has been painting for almost 40 years, and draws inspiration from a variety of places and artists, including Salvador Dali, Picasso, Van Gogh, Robert Crumb, Prince, and more. He first got involved with Artisan Alley by doing projection art at our South Rogers location during music events. You can find more of his work on his website http://kunoff.net/.
