We call Sundays “Prime Time”. It is the day we gather to worship, build up one another, study the Word together, and more. For us, it is the greatest day of the week.
But Wednesdays have also become really important. For our NextGen ministries, it is a relaxed time to gather and get that needed mid-week boost.
Last night was a special night. The pre-teen ministry had a night designed for outreach. Activities were planned that would encourage the students (especially the boys) to invite their friends. Over 125 preteens attended. Keep in mind, this group consists of our 4th and 5th graders, such an impressionable age. We are working intentionally to make an impact on that particular group.
In addition to the pre-teen activity, the middle school ministry hosted a missions fair last night. Many different booths were set up, representing many of our mission partners and ministries. Over 140 middle school students and leaders were in attendance. They heard from some of our missionaries and had the opportunity to interact with several more.
One of our prayers is the Lord will call many of our youth to Christian ministry. Allowing these middle schoolers to experience mission opportunities, have interaction with missionaries, and get to personally know their pastors may just plant the seeds for God’s call.
The ministry of FBCH continues.
