Our evening Kiwanis One meetings are from 5:30-7 on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month.  The first project will be a fundraiser for Guardian Ad Litem Association on November 15th at Eluvium Brewing in Weaverville.  The club is also beginning work on a Drone Racing initiative and afterschool program, which is very exciting.
We have Belk Charity Day tickets!  They are $5 each and our club gets to keep the entire amount we sell!!  We will need a few people to sell tickets at Belk on November 9th from 7am-11am.  It's an easy way to make some extra money for our club charities!

Eliada Home Kiwanis Playground Update

We will be giving about $1800 towards the playground, which is the money raised from the silent auction at our gala.

Another way you can help is to sign up for
Amazon Smile and add Eliada Home as your charity.   When you buy anything on Amazon, 5% of the purchase will go towards the Eliada Playground.  You have to place your order from the Amazon Smile page.  Tell your family and friends so they can help us too!  If you need help, I can show you at our next meeting.
          Keep Collecting Box Tops!
Johnston is collecting box tops which earn money for their school!    Many products you buy have them.  Click here to see a list.  There will be a jar at the check in table.  Bring any box tops you've collected during the week, and we will deliver them to the school.
2019-2020 Officers and Directors
Our speaker had to cancel, so Windell  talked to us about the drone after school drone project and drone racing initiative that our evening club is working on. He will be meeting with the Asheville sports commissioner soon and we hope to partner with AB Tech and UNCA to help us.  He showed several videos that show drone racing.  You can view one type of race here.
