  • We had 10 members and 1 guest at our meeting.
  • Invite someone to join us next week for our speaker Jason Posnock, VP and Chief Artistic Officer of Brevard Music Center.   He will give us a sneak peek at Brevard Music Center's Summer concerts that begin in July.
  • Quarter 3 dues have been sent out.    Please mail these to Ashley Huggins  First Bank 10 S. Tunnel Rd. 28805  If you have questions please email Scott Rogers.

We're working on details of meeting again in person!  We will no longer be able to meet at St. Mark's.  We will be meeting at the Veteran's Restoration Quarters (VRQ) on Tunnel Road in a room off of the cafeteria.  We have decided to have our first meeting September 14th at 12:00.  For those who would like to eat lunch they can get it from the VRQ cafeteria for $10 each week.  The policy of ABCCM is if you have not been vaccinated you must wear a mask.  Masks are optional if you have been vaccinated.
More details to come!

For those who can't make our noon meetings, we will have a meeting July 22nd at 5:30 at Cornerstone. (102 Tunnel Rd.)  We hope to discuss the drone program and other possible service projects at this meeting, so if you know of anyone who might be interested in joining us, please invite them to come. We'll also discuss future evening meeting dates and location.
Our speaker was Glenn Fields, the new executive director of Folkmoot.  After canceling their 2020 season, Folkmoot is back July 22-July 25 for a weekend of great programs.  The theme this year is Celebrating American Cultural Diversity.  Because of the Global Pandemic, it wasn't feasible to have groups from all over the world travel to WNC, so the festival will focus on the US and celebrate our differences.  You can find out more information about the performers for the weekend, and purchase tickets on their website.
