Eliada Home Kiwanis Playground Update

We will be giving about $1800 towards the playground, which is the money raised from the silent auction at our gala.

Another way you can help is to sign up for
Amazon Smile and add Eliada Home as your charity.   When you buy anything on Amazon, 5% of the purchase will go towards the Eliada Playground.  You have to place your order from the Amazon Smile page.  Tell your family and friends so they can help us too!  If you need help, I can show you at our next meeting.
2019-2020 Officers and Directors
Holly Jones of the NC Department of Justice spoke on how to avoid being a victim of identity theft and scams.  She stressed that everybody can become a victim of identity theft and anyone can commit it.  She encouraged us to go to The Department of Justice website and put a free security freeze on all of our credit accounts. This can prevent an identity thief from opening a new account or getting credit in your name. You can also do this for your children. The freeze can be temporarily lifted when you apply for credit.  She also told us about the many scams that are around.   You can sign up for alerts of scams in our area on the website and also get some other helpful advice to avoid becoming a victim of identity theft or a scam.
