Race Update
We are very sad to announce that our Biltmore Race will have to be cancelled this year. Due to the pandemic, Biltmore would not allow us to have the event on the Estate the last 2 years. We were hopeful we could work it out this year, but unfortunately, it is not going to be able to happen. The board voted to sign a contract with a new race director to do the race next year. We are also looking into doing a 5K possibly this August. More details to come....

Our speaker was Anne Smith with College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk. It is a locally owned company that stands for Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, and Service. It was started by two college students in 2003 and has been featured on Shark Tank and Undercover Boss. There are now over 140 franchises. Their services include residential and commercial full-service professional moving and packing services, junk removal, donation pickups and general labor. Over 70% of items hauled are donated to local non-profits that can benefit from them such as ABCCM, BeLoved Asheville, Habitat, Homeward Bound and Salvation Army. They also partner with Feeding Children Everywhere, and for every moving or junk removal they complete they provide a hungry child with 2 nutritious meals.
If you are planning a move, or just need to clean out some junk, contact Anne.
