We're working on details of meeting again in person!  We will no longer be able to meet at St. Mark's.  We will be meeting at the Veteran's Restoration Quarters (VRQ) on Tunnel Road in a room off of the cafeteria.  We have decided to have our first meeting September 14th at 12:00.  For those who would like to eat lunch they can get it from the VRQ cafeteria for $10 each week.  The policy of ABCCM is if you have not been vaccinated you must wear a mask.  Masks are optional if you have been vaccinated.
More details to come!

For those who can't make our noon meetings, we will have a meeting July 22nd at 5:30 at Cornerstone. (102 Tunnel Rd.)  We hope to discuss the drone program and other possible service projects at this meeting, so if you know of anyone who might be interested in joining us, please invite them to come. We'll also be collecting donations or school supplies for Johnston and talking about future dates and location for evening meetings.
We had several staff members from Brevard Music Center as our speakers.  Brevard began as a boy's band camp in Davidson, NC in 1936.  It was moved to Brevard in 1944 and the first festival took place in 1946. After 22 months with no performances, Brevard Music Festival is back for a great 2021 summer season July 9 - August 8!   Many of the concerts are free and tickets start at $20.  There is a 2200 seat open air auditorium with lawn seating and also a new 400 seat concert hall for smaller chamber music and jazz concerts.  Opening night will be Keith Lockhart directing a Beethoven Celebration.  Check out the schedule of great performers and get your tickets soon because they're going fast!
