THURSDAY 31st MARCH
Please come to these celebration and campaigning events tomorrow, Thursday 31st March, starting at 10am at Carnegie Library with Green Party Mayoral candidate Sian Berry.
We could still turn these bad decisions around. No floor plans have been seen for the GLL gyms; for now, Minet and Carneigie Libraries will be intact, simply closed to the public. Librarians continue to be in post, the buildings will continue to accomodate other Council services. A second Judical Review letter has been sent to Lambeth from our lawyers.
WE CAN AND WE WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT TO REINSTATE A FULL LIBRARY SERVICE IN ALL 10 OF LAMBETH’S LIBRARIES AND DEVELOP THESE COMMUNITY BUILDINGS TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
