To RMAEE Members,
Thank you to all members who attended our first Luncheon of 2017 last month. David Young from Noresco provided an excellent and very informative talk on building envelope commissioning (BECx). His presentation will be available within the Members Corner of our website soon.
One of our very own board members, Andre Gouin from Xcel Energy, will be speaker this month. More information and a link to register is below.
I'm please to announce RMAEE' Scholarship Committee is already geared up and looking for students to nominate for AEE's National Scholarship and consider for RMAEE's own annual scholarships. Please forward this newsletter to any students you think may be interested in applying! On a similar note, Iconergy has also offered up $1,000 towards scholarships this year. RMAEE will be providing matching funds (amount TBD) for any other business or individuals who would like follow Iconergy's lead. Thank you, Iconergy!
The Colorado State Science Fair is URGENTLY seeking up to 100 additional judges for their 2017 competition on April 6, 2017 in Fort Collins. The registration deadline to be a judge is February 24, 2017. You can Register Here. I have registered (for the record: Go Buffs!) and I think it would be great to see additional representation from the RMAEE crowd.
Lastly, please mark your calendars for September 14 - 20th, the tentative dates for this year's local CEM Training Seminar hosted by RMAEE. We will be providing more details over the coming months.
I hope you to see you at this month's Luncheon!
Sincerely,
Steven
