The Small Business Mastermind Forum (SBMMF) is a collective integrated network of small business service providers who assist small business owners with the critical components needed to optimize their time, talents, and resources as they grow and scale their businesses. This network of experts provides bookkeeping and accounting services, business consulting, HR consulting, government procurement, retirement plans, risk mitigation & insurance, lending, marketing, and continuity & succession planning.

The SBMMF will host two virtual events in the months of August and September. On August 20th from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, we will be presenting “Business & Brunch” an online forum where the team of industry experts will share how they are collectively helping Atlanta businesses to focus forward and survive the impact of COVID-19. Participants will select a maximum of three 20-minute breakout sessions with individual service providers during this FREE event.

On September 23rd from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, we will be inviting everyone to join us for our second “Business & Brunch." This event will focus on several industries in the metro Atlanta area that are significantly impacted by COVID-19. Industry experts will share lessons learned and best practices for navigating the current pandemic and future unforeseeable business disruptions. Registration is not open yet, please visit our Calendar of Events in the middle of August to register!

Black Entrepreneurs and Business Owners – Let Your Voices Be Heard

The Association for Enterprise Opportunity (AEO) invites you to participate in a focus group to discuss your experiences as a Black entrepreneur and business owner.
More specifically, AEO wants to examine how racism, trust, and their ripple effects play into the decisions you make as an entrepreneur. AEO aims to identify the challenges that Black business owners face and where the opportunities are within local ecosystems to ensure that Black entrepreneurs are able to have a seat at the table as well as access to the resources needed to thrive.
There will be three opportunities to participate in these focus groups:
August 20th, August 27th and September 3rd from 3:00-4:30 pm ET.

Today, many Atlanta small business communities need help adapting to COVID-19 to rise up, recover and thrive once again. The Resurgence Grant Fund offers up to $40,000, plus $10,000 of additional technical assistance, to help qualifying small businesses that have been adversely affected by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this new program, Invest Atlanta seeks to lessen the negative financial impact to businesses and cover costs associated with operating safely during the pandemic. Applications open August 10, 2020.
