The SBA has worked diligently to build the Shuttered Venue Operators Grant program from the ground up to assist and address the diverse eligibility requirements of each type of applicant and will open for applications on April 8.

Restaurant Revitalization Fund Grant

The new Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) will provide $28.6 billion in grants to restaurants and bars in need. Most American restaurants and bars that lost revenue in 2020 versus 2019 will be eligible to apply for RRF grants. Those that want to apply for grants should register with the government using the System of Award Management (SAM), if they are not already, and obtain a DUNS Number.

The SBA will administer and disperse the grants, the applications would be open to prioritized groups, including women, veterans and oppressed groups, who would receive prioritization for the first wave of grants, before being opened up to a wider rollout. You can visit the SBA COVID-19 relief options web portal for more information and we will keep everyone posted via social media.
