Public Safety Grants Awarded

News from LSFD

Recently, the Loveland-Symmes Fire Department was awarded two FEMA Department of Homeland Security Assistance to Firefighters Grants for equipment and training. This brings LSFD's grant total to seven received in the past two years! These grants will fund heart monitors for ladder trucks, thermal imaging cameras, paramedic training, and leadership training.

"We have been very blessed in our grants over the past several years. This allows us to keep the local mileage low and stretch out our public safety levies, all while keeping service level high," said Fire Chief Otto Huber.
