City of Loveland Tax Returns Due April 18

All residents age 18 or older must file a Loveland tax return with the Regional Income Tax Agency (RITA), even if no tax is due.  Free taxpayer assistance is provided for the Loveland return at City Hall Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 4:30 p.m. or you may also file online at www.ritaohio.com.  Those who need assistance completing a tax return should bring their W-2 form(s) and at least the front page of their Federal 1040 form with any applicable Federal schedules.  There is no charge for assistance with your city tax return and no appointment is required.  Please keep in mind, the closer it gets to April 18, the longer you may have to wait for assistance - so don't delay.  City Hall will be closed on Friday, April 14, in observance of Good Friday.  If you have questions regarding filing your City taxes, please contact Dawn Everett at 513-707-1452.  Should you receive her voicemail, please leave a message and it will be returned during her next work day.

Loveland Residents Recycled 1,214 Tons in 2016

Congratulations Loveland residents!  In 2016, we recycled 1,214.34 tons of metal, glass, plastic, and paper.  Residents saved resources, conserved energy, and reduced pollution by recycling.

The recycling efforts in Loveland:
  • Conserved enough energy to power every home in Loveland for 17 days.
  • Reduced more air pollution than if every household in Loveland road their bicycle to work for 10 weeks.
  • Saved 10,459 tress from being harvested.
On average, each household in Loveland recycled 540 pounds in 2016.  That's 18.33% of all the waste we generate.

We can recycle plastic bottles and jugs, aluminum and steel cans, glass bottles and jars, cartons, and paper (newspaper, cardboard, mail, and paperboard).

Want to start recycling?  Call 683-0150 to request your recycling cart today.
