🎨Join us for a day without cars painting the iconic Grauman's Chinese Theater from life during August 2022 CicLAvia, running through Hollywood Blvd on that same day.

What are we going to paint?

The iconic Grauman's Theater.

On Sunday, August 21, the streets in Hollywood and West Hollywood will be open so you can jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, and enjoy the route however you want. Our routes are welcoming to people of all ages and abilities! This CicLAvia is in partnership with City of West Hollywood and City of LA.
I'm a 'beginner.' I've never painted with oil. Can I still join?
Yes. Our sessions are paced and guided in a way that allows you to build your painting from beginning to end regardless of your skill level.
Whether you are painting for the first time or you have been doing it for years, we break down the steps and provide instructions on how to incorporate the materials to your process.
Do I need to bring any materials?
All of the supplies you may need are provided by us. We paint in oil.

What of I have all the materials and a lot of experience?
We created Roofless Painters because there are way too many artists who don't have access to materials, space, opportunities, or prefer to join an instruction-based group rather than going solo. We work very hard to create and provide that access, connecting with local leaders and business owners, seeking approval, finding opportunities, supporting our community.

If you have your own setup and a lot of experience, we suggest you join groups on MeetUp or Eventbright that offer free opportunities to gather and paint.
