One of our several meals together with our In Better Hands staff and youth from Chiang Mai, Thailand. Ano (country director) is sitting next to Hlawn Hlawn. Lulu (general ministry staff) is sitting next to Ano. Next to Jason is Lily (high school student). Between Lily and Noah is View (high school student). Great tasting noodles but Noah wasn't initially too impressed :)
Dear Friends,

We have been in Thailand now for 10 days. It is still a bit surreal being back. For the most part, jet lag is behind us and we are now back to our normal sleeping schedule. We have been so busy during this week and a half, there is still so much to get caught up on but we are taking it one day at a time.

It has been a blessing to us to have spent so much time with our In Better Hands staff and female youth that are living in our ministry center. Our boys Jason and Noah love playing with these girls, the girls love them just as much!

Yesterday, I (Seth) went to visit four of our In Better Hands children that live near Chiang Mai. It was great to see them after two and a half years, the children have grown so much!

This next week I will be traveling to southern Thailand to setup hotel and meeting space for all of our FMWM Asia missionaries. In January 2023 we will be having a missionary gathering for the first time in several years because of Covid. Please pray for me to find the right venue location for this important gathering.

Here are some cute words from Jason & Noah during our past days here in Thailand...

Noah: "Where are all the Thai people?" Seth: "All around us, we are in Thailand now!"

Noah: "Dad, I just saw a young kid on a motorbike!" Seth: "Welcome back to Thailand!"

Being jet lagged, the kids were falling asleep by mid afternoon and waking up about 11pm ready for the new day to start... Noah: "Why are the nights so long here in Thailand? The nights are so short in Michigan!

Jason: "Hey Dad, is that all sand over there?" Seth: "No, that is a very polluted river!"

Very cute and memorable things the boys have said as they process their "new normal" environment after being away for over two years. Please pray for them as they continue readjusting and settling in. They both begin their new school year on August 15th. Jason will be a 3rd grader and Noah will be in Kindergarten.

God Bless!

Seth, Hlawn Hlawn, Jason, Noah, & Abigail 💕
