Skidata & Rad-Away Group-Buy Update 2

Please read the information below regarding the Devlin Skidata Q-Series and Rad-Away K-Series group-buys thoroughly!

Devlin have recently informed me that due to in-depth quality assurance checks, the keysets will now be shipped to MechSupply with certainty on Friday 24th February. Assuming issue-free shipping, this allows a tentative ship date to customers a week later on March 3rd. Apologies for this slight additional delay. 

The delays this group-buy has experienced have been a result of having to rely on the schedules of two separate companies (Signature Plastics and Devlin). I am currently still waiting to hear back from Signature Plastics on when they will be shipping the spacebars for this group-buy. The Skidata sets will be shipped regardless of this and if necessary the spacebars at a slightly later date.

Devlin have also recently sent images of the keycaps sets as a preview. The colour of the Rad-Away set unfortunately seems to be a lighter green than the colour requested the set be produced in. See below for the images:







The final image shows an unannounced Z-Series Planck keyset which will be available in limited supply once the group-buy has shipped to customers.

I understand the chance in colour of the Rad-Away set will be an issue for many customers, this issue comes down to the colour codes (HEX, RGB etc) that Devlin uses not being representative of the real life colours. This is one of the potential pitfalls when working with a manufacturer new to the enthusiast market.

Taking into account these changes and the delay, if any customer would like a full refund you can reply to this email requesting so - please state your order number in your email. You can also do so via the contact form on the website at anytime. Apologies again for any inconvenience.
