When you see great images and stories online, in print or on KSBY news, it’s a result of the consistent and dedicated efforts behind the scenes of Rosemary Bauer, Ellen November, Mari O’Brien, and Jan Paulson. Thank you! Your “Rock-star” efforts really get us noticed!
Janet Hillson works diligently every month to bring you an informative newsletter, filled with all of the latest happenings at Art Center Morro Bay! This month we bid a sad farewell to Liz Moore, MBAA Youth Education Director. Liz has worked with students in an effort to teach them how to enter an art competition and properly frame their work for these events. She has helped managed the MBAA Student Exhibits and distribute children's summer art class information in the community. She plays a key role in the Just One program that allows students the opportunity to practice job interviewing techniques with local businesses. After 2 plus years of dedicated board service, we hope Liz will find more time for fun things including her beautiful watercolor paintings! We are deeply grateful for the time Liz has provided this organization, as a Board Member, liaison and volunteer. The young people you have touched are the future of our community and MBAA. Thank you Liz!
There's always a need for volunteers like you! If you are reading this message and think ,"I can't do this, or I don't know how to help", we know differently! There is training available for everything we do! We are looking for the next super hero and that just may be you!
