The upcoming exhibit, Born in the USA, is a non juried event, open to all media and subject matter.  Now is a great time to share your creative voice!  This show will take place in both galleries.  The exchange day is Tuesday, May 14, 10am – 2pm.  During this show, the beautiful wood turned pottery of Barry Lundgren will be on display!
We’re celebrating a new paver style patio complimented by a sneak peek of the exhibit, Born in the USA, with a MB Chamber of Commmerce Mixer!  Our MBAA Secretary, Janet Hillson, has been working hard on this project.   Mark your calendars for a great meet and greet, May 16, 5:30 – 7:30pm.  Chamber events help us to meet and work with other MB Chamber member, business owners.

Liz Moore, Children's Art Education Director, will be stepping down this June as her job description in the 2019-2020 school year, will no longer allow her the latitude to attend board meetings.  We are deeply grateful for the time she has provided this organization, as a Board Member, volunteer and liaison between MBAA and the local school district.  Liz has been instrumental in helping to provide local students an avenue in which they may exhibit their artwork, compete in juried events, process scholarship applications and attend PTA functions to spread children's summer art class awareness.  Thank you Liz!
Thank you, for all of your letters to our MB City Council Members!  Steve Powers and I continue to work with the Public Works Advisory Board (PWAB) on an additional proposal for the new RTA bus stop at the downtown park.

If you haven’t signed a petition, you may do so online.  Please tell your friends!
Our hard working Docent Director, Michael Costa has been doing a fabulous job!  Michael works a full time job, attends classes at a local college and donates time to MBAA!  We appreciate everything you are doing Michael!   Docents donate much of their time and keep our gallery humming!  Please be sure to thank them for their dedication and support:  Michael Costa, Docent Director, Charlotte Berney, Joy Chambers, Joan Fee, Tom Franklin, Charmaine Henderson, Janet Hillson, Alice Isaac, Nancy Johnson, Debra Piazza, Colleen Ray, Bob Rodger, Jo Swanberg, Sharon Westray, Anne Grannis, Danielle Sher and Brian Ross.

We are grateful for our volunteers and have a great board of directors.  Bob Azevedo, our treasurer is assisted by Debra Piazza.  Bob has been diligently learning Quick Books in an effort to update our book keeping.  If you have expertise in this area, please let Bob know.   We have immediate openings on the board for Vice President, Gallery Director, Children's Education Director and various assistant positions.   If you are interested in learning one of these board positions, please let me know.
