Message from your President

"To be inspired is great, to inspire is incredible." Troy Talford, WAAE President
Agriculture & Natural Resources Instructor/FFA Advisor, Sauk Prairie Schools District

For agriculture teachers, winter break is a time for us to unwind, take a breath, and gear up for the second half of the year. As we are getting back to our classrooms I am reminded how important our jobs are to inspire our students in our classrooms. You have a challenging job, no doubt, but I would like to challenge us all to make sure we remember to take time for ourselves in order to find balance in our lives.

As we begin the new year, your WAAE board and WI Team Ag Ed family are looking forward to making a commitment to recruitment and retention as we will be participating in the NAAE State Teach Ag Results (STAR) Program for the next two years. There are wonderful opportunities abound and we hope to provide you with the tools to allow you to continue to inspire our students.
