Denver Zine Library
January 2021

2020 is now behind us, but the problems it brought are still sticking around. We're hopeful that the next few months will start to bring a sense of calm and stability as we keep an eye on COVID-19 vaccination roll-outs and witness the many changes going on with the US government. We're cautiously optimistic about the future and will continue to foster a zine community that speaks up about mutual aid, especially around health and safety, and speaks out against injustice and oppression.

While the Denver Zine Library remains closed for the forseeable future, we wanted to let you know about a few awesome things happening.

Call for Submissions: Don't Shoot the Zine
Don't Shoot the Zine, a zine focused on social issues, is working on it's third issue on governmental mbalance- which we define as a governments inability or lack of desire to work in the interest of all of its people. We call this Imbalance because the purpose of a government is to work for all of its people, so if one is not, it's not fulfilling its most basic purpose.

Submissions guidelines can be found at linktr.ee/dontshootthezine
Deadline: February 1, 2021
