MARCH VIRTUE - OBEDIENCE (We all can appreciate this one!)
This week we are learning about obedience, which is agreeing to the directives of rightful authority without hesitation or resistance. Here are the cliff notes from this morning’s assembly.
The opposite is: to resist the directives of rightful authority
Looks like: following directions promptly, and the first time
Sounds like: “Yes, I can do that for you.”
Scripture that pertains to it: Luke 1:38
Saints that lived it: Saint Padre Pio
Next week we start the virtue of obedience.
Dear Jesus, You are God, and yet You were obedient to Mary and Joseph. Help me to do all that my parents and teachers ask of me-promptly, joyfully, and completely. This virtue pleases You more than all other sacrifices.
