The Competition was first held in 2011.  This year, the Competition celebrates its ninth season.

The Competition is designed to suit scaleups with high growth potential, i.e. those SMEs that have established sales and customers and are looking at ways to accelerate their business.  Having said that, several startups have been selected in previous years.

What is involved in order to enter the Competition?
In order to enter, entrants must be an Australian-registered business with less than 100 employees.  In addition to basic company details, entrants are asked to describe their technology, what makes it unique, and expand on reasons why it has global potential.  It takes on average 15 minutes to complete the online entry form.
