Mission Accomplished

Twin brothers Chris and Riley were diagnosed with digestive issues as babies. The boys began to see specialists and were in and out of doctors appointments as toddlers to try and find a solution. It was determined that surgery would be the next step for both boys, but the hospital was in Richmond, four hours away from their home. Ronald McDonald House Charities would keep the family close to one another and to the hospital for the duration of their surgery and recovery process.

Superheroes in Action
Our amazing House Volunteer, Sean, wrote a blog post about his experiences at Richmond's Ronald McDonald House.
From Sean's post, "I really enjoy interacting with the children that stay at the house.  Even though they, or their sibling, are going through some kind of medical difficulty, they are almost always running around the house with a big smile on their face.  The resilience and optimism that you see in their eyes is something that is truly inspiring. Knowing that I am making a positive difference, no matter how small it may be, is something I hope everyone gets a chance to experience."

Community Spotlight
Thank you to our friends at NXL Construction for their very generous donation of more than $9,000.00 to help us serve even more families at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond. The company hosted a summer golf tournament with all of their vendors, suppliers, and customers to benefit RMHC. Your support makes it possible for RMHC to keep families close to each other and to the medical care they need.

Thank you!
