Mission Accomplished
When Henry Gonzalez of First Class Limo was chosen to be featured on WTVR CBS 6's popular news segment, Nikki Dee Can You Be Me, his first thought was, "How can I use this opportunity to help others?"

First Class Limo provides luxury transportation options in Richmond and the client list has included celebrities like Russell Wilson and Steven Spielberg. But, for this special ride they teamed up with Nikki Dee to visit another group of stars, the guests at Richmond's Ronald McDonald House.

Families gathered on the front porch and watched the beautiful limousine pull up in front of 2330 Monument Avenue. Nikki Dee, Henry and his team delivered stuffed animals, smiles, and hugs to the children and their families. Thank you for this special moment and for brightening the day of our families!

Superheroes in Action
Recently we were honored to welcome a group of incoming students from Washington & Lee University as volunteers. The group participated in the school's Volunteer Venture program where students spend one week volunteering in seven different cities. The unique opportunity allows the students to give back while also getting to know their new classmates.

Volunteer Harris Billings said of his experience, "I had a really powerful experience working with the Ronald McDonald House because it’s a service my mom used when my sister and I were receiving medical treatment. The normalcy [RMHC] provides gives families a sense of control, which would otherwise be lacking. Because of this, volunteering with RMHC was especially meaningful for me."

This year marked the 10th anniversary of our largest event of the year - the Red Shoe Rendezvous. Raising the most it ever has, the two-day event raised $227,000 to support Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond.

The event featured a special family story about our guests of honor, the Doyle family. We were also thrilled to recognize event chair, Susan Durlak, for 10 years of Red Shoe Rendezvous success.

Thank you to all of our sponsors, auction item donors, restaurants, vendors, attendees, and golfers for your incredible support of our mission to keep families close when it is needed most.
