Hi <<First Name>>,

For the past 12 years, work for me has been 85% virtual,  with occasional travel to either an office in Melbourne or overseas.

What I've learned is that having a sense of community in the time of isolation is a huge help.  So, here are simple ways you can keep staff engaged and socialised:
Start the day with an early check-in
Have regular early morning meetings and play simple virtual games like picture charades or trivia quiz A simple 15 minutes spent playing games like these help set a happy tone for the entire workday. If you just jump into work 5 days a week and don't take time out to have a game and laugh with your team, you may start seeing issues with performance.

Make the most out of Zoom meetings
Meetings need not be boring. I love how a simple Zoom feature can put up smiles. That's why no matter how silly it sounds, I have transported myself to the Alps and even became Mario (from the famous computer game) just for laughs by using different Zoom backgrounds.

But, staff in Cebu are super competitive, so we took it up another notch and did a contest out of it! (congratulations, Angie, your
dog pooping on the beach background still cracks me up!)

Hosting immunity-boosting events
Since staff aren't allowed to go outside for exercise, we encourage working out inside their homes. I've sent out a
wellness campaign for some health and exercise tips and tricks I gathered from Yarra Leisure (Australia based fitness centre) and Google.

There is still uncertainty on what comes next, but rest assured that our my team and I are committed to making this temporary transition as easy as possible.

We have 2 existing staff ready to join your team!

Charrie - FP
Laarni - FP

Also, we have a new staff member who's ready to meet you...
Rain
