E-cigarettes are very popular with youth, and their use is growing dramatically. Today, more high school students use e-cigarettes than regular cigarettes, and the use of e-cigarettes is higher among high school students than adults.
Scientists are still learning more about how e-cigarettes affect health, but we know that youth tobacco use in any form, including e-cigarettes, is unsafe.
As a response, we are providing an e-cigarette toolkit. This toolkit contains an e-cigarette fact sheet, an e-cigarette course for educators, as well as an e-cigarette course that can be used in the classroom. To view or download these materials, please click here.
We also encourage youth and adults to complete the "Taking Down Tobacco 101" online training offered by the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids which provides strategies to help fight against Big Tobacco.
