#LoireFest is here!

Welcome to the Camerata newsletter! We want to send you some information about what's happening at the wine bar from month-to-month and tell you about some of our favorite winemakers, grape varieties, and vineyards along the way. If you're receiving this e-mail, you have attended a class or event, but if you'd like to unsubscribe, click the link below or e-mail us.

Camerata has some new faces. Come say hello and read on to learn more!

Adam Toon is a recent transplant from Wichita, Kansas and his first major move out of his hometown was to come down to Houston in order to work for, as he puts it, "the best wine professionals around". David Keck was one of the first wine professionals he had ever worked for while volunteering for TexSom in 2014. Adam is planning on testing his way through his certifications and has plans to go after the much-lauded Master Sommelier title. Come in and ask him about his Houston bucket list or the favorite foods he’s already found, just don’t spoil last night’s Game of Thrones.

Erin Smith has been in the Houston culinary scene for a long time and maintains some serious following after having worked around Houston and as well as at Babbo and Per Se in New York. Before Camerata, she was at the JW Marriott as their executive chef but her most recent move took her to the front of house. With plans to open up her own restaurant one day, Erin has taken to the floor to dig into wine from such a place as Camerata. The hardest part of the transition? That service is a stage but she's caught on quickly.
We’re happy to have both new additions to the team at Camerata!
In preparation for July's festivities, we will be hosting a class on the Loire Valley. It will be an introduction and a whirlwind tour into the vast diversity of the region. Get to know what you'll be sipping on at bars and restaurants all over Houston for the month of July.

Last, but not least, help us in congratulating David Keck as one of the newest Master Sommeliers! He is the 233rd over the globe and our 2nd here in Houston!
