SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO NAVIGATE THE HOLIDAYS
Families of sons and/or daughters on the spectrum have experienced the challenges that can arise during this bustling season. Schedules are disrupted, routines are broken, and visitors can seem loud and intrusive.  Indiana University at Bloomington has a list of tips that can help make the Holidays more manageable.

As the end of the year closes in, time is running out on tax deductible donations. Take advantage of the tax benefits both the Canadian Federal and Provincials governments offer to Canadians who give to registered Canadians charities such as Victoria Society for Children with Autism.

Indiana University at Bloomington has a list of tips that can help make the Holidays more manageable.  They are updated annually, and so you may wish to check back in with them in 2020. Click here for full article.
The tips have been developed with input from the National Autism Society, the Autism Society of Indiana, Riley Child Development Center, Easterseals Crossroads, LOGAN Autism Learning Centers, and the Indiana Autism Leadership Network.
