Beca para la investigación en el área de la leucemia aguda infantil
La Fundación “Unoentrecienmil” realiza una convocatoria pública para financiar la investigación de la leucemia infantil. Se concederá una ayuda financiera de 100.000 € a un proyecto de investigación sobre leucemia infantil, que se desarrollará bajo la supervisión de un Investigador Principal (IP) en una institución española. Ayudas a la movilidad en microbiología clínica y enfermedades infecciosas
La Sociedad Española de Enfermedades Infecciosas y Microbiología Clínica (SEIMC), con el fin de facilitar una óptima formación, tiene el propósito de ayudar a financiar estancias cortas de sus miembros en otros centros. Se financiarán estancias de 1 a 3 semanas de duración en hospitales españoles, diferentes al de origen o extranjeros, en el ámbito de la Microbiología Clínica y de la Enfermedades Infecciosas.La cuantía de estas ayudas será de máximo 600 euros la primera semana y máximo 300 las siguientes.F.Cierre: 31/12/2017.

XIII edición del Premio Ciencias de la Salud Fundación Caja Rural
Fundación Caja Rural Granada y Fundación Parque Tecnológico de la Salud convocan la XIII edición del Premio Ciencias de la Salud Fundación Caja Rural. El plazo de inscripción permanecerá abierto hasta el próximo 7 de abril. Fundación Caja Rural, en estrecha colaboración con el PTS y el apoyo de la Universidad de Granada, la Consejería de Salud, el Colegio de Médicos y el Colegio de Farmacéuticos de Granada, viene reconociendo desde 2005 a través de esta iniciativa el esfuerzo y la excelencia de la comunidad científica, y respaldando de esta forma la investigación biosanitaria, como modelo de desarrollo económico. Las bases incluyen dos modalidades: la de Investigación, dotada con 20.000€ en metálico, y la de Divulgación, con 6.000€, para los trabajos cuya temática coincida con las líneas prioritarias del Parque Tecnológico de Ciencias de la Salud..

Beques Daniel Bravo per a estades curtes a l'estranger d'investigació biomèdica
Amb l’ objectiu de generar una xarxa de col·laboració entre grups de recerca biomèdica d’excel·lència a Catalunya i l'estranger en les àrees cardiovascular pediàtrica i en adults,  s’atorgaran fins a tres beques per a fer estades entre un i nou mesos. Es prioritzaran aquelles propostes que signifiquin  iniciar un nou projecte de recerca col·laborativa. Cada ajut té una dotació econòmica bruta de 3.000 euros mensuals, més les despeses de desplaçament. El tancament de la convocatòria es farà el 8 de març de 2017 , la resolució es farà pública durant el mes d’abril i l’ inici de l’ estada haurà de ser forçosament entre el maig i el desembre d’ enguany.

Pre-announcement of the “2nd Joint Transnational Call for European Research Projects on Systems Medicine”
ERACoSysMed is a network of 15 funding organisations from 13 countries. The central aim of ERACoSysMed is to enhance the implementation of Systems Biology approaches in medical concepts, research and practice throughout Europe and Israel by structuring, coordinating and integrating national efforts and investments. ERACoSysMed is a five year programme funded under the European Commission ERA-NET Cofund scheme in the H2020 Horizon programme which has begun in January 2015. The call is scheduled to open on February 3rd, 2017.

Support of projects by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation
Support of projects by the Fritz Thyssen Foundation focuses on science and biomedicine fields. In accordance with one of the desires of the donors, special attention is devoted by the foundation institutions to medical research. At present the foundation is focusing its support on the field of “Molecular causes in the development of illnesses”.  This programme supports molecular biological studies of illnesses whose development is based on genetic defects or with which gene variants contribute to the development of complex illnesses.
Deadline: 15 February 2017 for the summer meeting of the foundation committees (June 2017).

EUREKA Turbo pilot call for large industrial Research & Innovation projects
EUREKA Turbo is an industrial oriented programme for large Research & Innovation projects.. A typical EUREKA Turbo project is expected to include participants from 2-3 participating countries and 4-6 partners. The total budget for a EUREKA Turbo project is expected to be €2-5 mio. depending on the number of partners for a project duration of 36 months.

FLAG-ERA Joint Transnational Call (Graphene Flagship & Human Brain Project)
The FLAG-ERA Joint Transnational Call (JTC) 2017 supports research projects in synergy with the two FET Flagships, the Graphene Flagship and the Human Brain Project. It is designed to expand the current Flagships with new research contributing to the Flagship objectives in selected areas. New researchers and researchers already in the Flagships are equally eligible. Selected projects are expected to be integrated in the Flagships as Partnering Projects.
Total indicative budget: 14.980.000 EUR

International Short Research Visits to Switzerland
The scheme International Short Visits is aimed at researchers in Switzerland who wish to go abroad for a short period or researchers abroad who wish to collaborate with researchers in Switzerland. During the visit, they pursue a small joint research project. Short visits may last from one week to three months. There are no geographical and topical restrictions. The grants include travel, room and board expenses. Funding: 3000-3500 CHF per month.

Defense Health Program Department of Defense Breast Cancer Research Program
Applications submitted to the FY17 BCRP must address one or more of the following overarching challenges:
- Prevent breast cancer (primary prevention)
- Identify determinants of breast cancer initiation, risk, or susceptibility
- Distinguish deadly from non-deadly breast cancers
- Conquer the problems of overdiagnosis and overtreatment
- Identify what drives breast cancer growth; determine how to stop it
- Identify why some breast cancers become metastatic
- Determine why/how breast cancer cells lay dormant for years and then re-emerge (recurrence); determine how to prevent recurrence
- Revolutionize treatment regimens by replacing them with ones that are more effective, less toxic, and impact survival
- Eliminate the mortality associated with metastatic breast cancer
