EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Program


You may be well aware of the skyrocketing growth of Brewster Ambulance Service since 2010, with six municipal contracts (several already in their renewal periods), hundreds of retail and commercial clients, hospital partnerships and positive policy impacts at the state level. Viewed from the outside, the growth indeed has been remarkable.

It has not gone unnoticed.

Earlier this year, President and CEO Mark Brewster learned that he was nominated as Entrepreneur Of The Year for the New England region. On May 1, he received notice from EY that he had made it to the next round, and has been invited to attend the New England Judges Reception on May 15 as a semifinalist.

Steward Health Care System Recognizes Brewster Ambulance Paramedics


In celebration of National Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Week, Steward Health Care System is hosting their 2nd Annual “EMS Stewards of the Community” Awards Ceremony on May 22 in Quincy. The “EMS Stewards of the Community” awards show appreciation for emergency medical responders and dispatchers, emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians, and paramedics who not only carry out the noble work of caring for others, but do so with a high degree of expertise, professionalism, and compassion. An internal committee of physicians, nurses and EMS Managers will review nominations and select recipients for each of the Steward hospitals.

The following six Brewster Ambulance Service paramedics have been recognized by Steward Health Care System for their outstanding service in the community:
  • Kyle Barratt
  • Tyler Medeiros
  • John Smith
  • Brain Anderson
  • Michael Gallagher
  • Deborah Johnson
  • Robert Midgely
