CVHEC SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT:

CVHEC Policy and Legislative Summit returns May 6

Greetings colleagues and friends,

The Central Valley Higher Education Consortium is
delighted to announce the return of our annual Higher Education Policy and Legislative Summit on Friday, May 6, with the theme, “Post Pandemic World: Recovering with Equity and Inclusion in the Central Valley.”

Registration for the summit, which will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel in downtown Fresno, is now available until April 29 at https://bit.ly/CVHEC2022Summit

We also invite summit participants to join us for our CVHEC Cinco de Mayo Reception the night before -- May 5, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. -- and reconnect in-person with colleagues, new and old, after a two-year pandemic-forced hiatus from in-person convenings. The reception will feature some great entertainment by Las Hermanas Medinas from Hanford, two college grads and current students (two

attended CVHEC member institution Fresno State).

Under this year’s summit theme, nearly 300 intersegmental educators, legislators and partner representatives from throughout the Central Valley and the state will join us to examine such issues as equity, dual enrollment, transfer pathways and broadband disparity and access ...

(For more information about the summit, please see our press release or register here).
