It's time to get to work!

If we have seen anything in the last few days and weeks, its the desperate need for the body of Christ to love, serve, and minister to the brokenness and pain all around us.

Here's how we are getting starting:

Stepping Out in Faith

"How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
-Romans 10:14-15
God is sending us as missionaries to call, empower, and SEND others to love our city, our country and the nations in Jesus name.
October 6th
We will officially step down from Taylor's current position at Oak Hills Church to step out and launch Wildfire.

By that time we are praying to receive enough support to meet our family's monthly needs**, and to officially launch the Wildfire Network. It is a daunting and nerve-wracking step, but we have seen God throw open doors and work miracles before; we are trusting in His clear guidance for us to take this step at this time.
If you would like to join this journey with us through financial support, please pray about what God would have you give, and follow the link below. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to those of you who have already stepped out sacrificially to give, your support will help fund this new movement of God called Wildfire.

**Our current financial needs are $2,945 per month. All gifts are tax deductible. We are partnering with the Underground Network in Tampa Bay and all giving will go through them until we receive our non profit status from the government. 100% goes towards the donors intent.

Harvey Relief:
Headed to Help!

Taylor is headed out with a Jon Boat tomorrow to aid in the immediate need for rescue. Our Training school teams have been learning how to love others and pray for people in need. While we know that the recovery effort will take months and years, we are taking a Wildfire crew to the Coast to help this weekend. Please pray that we would bring hope and help where its needed so intensely.

Training School Fall Session

We just finished the summer session and were able to see God raise up some incredible hearts and workers. This weekend we will take several of them and the new Fall crew (starting this weekend) to serve in relief efforts. It's vital that we build a culture of Jesus followers who are willing to step out in boldness- knowing that He can do so much more than we can ask or imagine when we learn to say "yes" to His ideas...

Open doors and full backpacks...

God has opened the doors wide at Oak Manor apartments, a large section 8 housing complex with many refugees and people from diverse backgrounds, races, and religious beliefs. At first, we were not allowed into the community because we are openly Jesus followers, but as the staff there saw our genuine love for the families, and our authentic desire to meet physical and spiritual needs- the doors flung open wide!! We've now been asked to help provide tutoring, grief counseling, ESL class help, and they have given us access to spend time with the kids and families in the community. The ground is prepped...We are actively praying for God to raise up and send missionaries into this community, preferably from among the friends we have made who live there! So THANK YOU to those of you who helped provide a backpack full of supplies, its effects were far reaching.

Heaven Sent

We are so excited to help our newest mission launch! Heaven Sent is a ministry to nursing homes and assisted livings that empowers the residents to love one another and those outside their limited reach through the power of cards. Heaven Sent provides free greeting cards to residents, and equips volunteers to help them write letters of encouragement to others. This simple act of grace empowers them with purpose while demonstrating Jesus' love to them in a practical way. The mission leader, Laura, has said that several staff members at the Rosewood community (her first location), have begun asking her why she does what she does - her answer is the Gospel. If you would like to be part of this amazing ministry of hope, please contact Laura Stanford at
